Transport Planner Development Planning and Planning Applications Cambridge £65,000-£72,500 PA DOE About the Role We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner with a strong understanding of the UK town and country planning system and demonstrable experience in supporting land and property development projects through the planning process, from initial feasibility and transport assessment through to the grant of planning permission.This is a specialist transport planning and development planning role, rather than a general project planning position. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing transport planning advice in support of planning applications and working with developers, local planning authorities and other stakeholders to secure planning consent.Key Responsibilities Provide specialist transport planning advice in relation to development proposals and land promotion.Assess the transport implications of proposed developments and identify appropriate mitigation measures.Prepare, review and coordinate Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and related transport documentation.Support the progression of development sites through the UK planning system, from initial site assessment and feasibility through to submission and determination of planning applications.Advise on transport-related planning requirements and engage with Local Planning Authorities, National Highways, Highway Authorities and other relevant ..... full job details .....
