Transport Planner/Shipping CoordinatorLocation: Derby Contract: 12-month contract (rolling, likely to extend) Hours: 37 hours per week | Fully onsite Pay: Up to £22.41 per hourAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Transport Planner/Shipping Coordinator to join a friendly and supportive logistics team based at the East Midlands Gateway. This is a key operational role, responsible for planning and coordinating outbound customer shipments to destinations across the UK and Europe.This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to develop their experience within transport, shipping, or logistics operations. Full training and clear work instructions will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end planning and coordination of customer shipmentsEnsuring correct paperwork is matched to the correct carrier and customerCreation and management of shipping labels using SAP and shipping systemsLiaising with internal teams, customers, and transport carriers to meet time-critical deadlinesCompleting export and shipping documentation (including labels and shipping notes)End-of-day shipping activity, including European declarations and carrier pre-alertsSupporting freight invoice processing and resolving discrepanciesMaintaining accurate records and spreadsheets, with a strong focus on detailSkills andamp; ExperienceEssential:Excellent organisational and administrative skillsHigh level of ..... full job details .....
