The business has a strong reputation within the industry and offers the opportunity to build a long-term career within a structured and professional transport environment.The RoleAs a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating UK road freight collections and deliveries, working closely with hauliers, customers and internal teams to ensure transport operations run efficiently and service levels are maintained.You will play a key role in monitoring vehicle movements, resolving issues and making proactive decisions throughout the day.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate daily UK collections and deliveries.Monitor vehicle movements and proactively manage delays or service issues.Ensure planned transport activity is completed efficiently and within required timescales.Liaise with hauliers and transport partners to coordinate collections and deliveries.Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and transport providers.React quickly to breakdowns, traffic disruption, delays and customer ..... full job details .....
