Transport PlannerLocation: CroydonSalary: Up to 40,000Monday - FridayI currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to join a well-established and growing transport operation in Croydon, moving approx. 450 pallets per day. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and successful transport team where you will play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently and ensuring excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:Planning and coordinating daily deliveries and collectionsManaging routes to ensure maximum efficiency and service levelsEnduring drivers are fully briefed and complete their deliveries and collections on timeMaintaining regular communication with drivers throughout the day to manage any issues or changesLiaising with customers to provide updates and resolve any transport-related queries Managing pallet distribution schedules and ensuring smooth day-to-day operationsMonitoring vehicle utilisation and adapting plans to meet operational demandsEnsuring compliance with transport regulations and company proceduresEssential RequirementsProven experience in a Transport Planner role within a busy transport environmentStrong experience within pallet distribution/networksExcellent local geographical knowledge of Croydon and surrounding areasThe ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a high-volume workloadStrong communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsA proactive and customer-focused approachWhat''s ..... full job details .....
