Transport Planner with a difference My client is an established and expanding their client base within the leisure industry. Working with major tour operators they run a bespoke white glove service to their clients. Planning and organising the safe collection and delivery of personal property throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. You will have a dual role within the company. This will be liaising with tour operators and direct clients ensuring that collections and deliveries are completed within a given time frames. Although the office is operational Monday to Friday, you will at times want to complete the deliveries in person to get a full and complete understanding of how the operation runs from both a distribution and planning perspective. Travel to Europe in the companies 3.5t van you will have nights out where you will be required to stay in hotels ready for a fresh start the following day. You will come from a logistics background and be experienced within planning and scheduling. You will be flexible within the organisation to ensure everything runs smoothly and professionally. In return you will be offered a basic of between 30 - 40k depending on experience.
