I''m currently working with a well-established, growing consultancy that delivers engineering, design, and surveying services across the construction sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner to join their Didcot office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, collaborative environment, working on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors.

• Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
• Undertake site appraisals, feasibility studies, and pre-application advice
• Carry out traffic modelling and junction capacity assessments
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project teams
• Attend meetings and support project delivery
• Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships

Essential:

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. Transport Planning, Civil Engineering)
• Experience within a transport planning consultancy environment
• Proven experience producing Transport Assessments / Transport Statements
• Experience using junction modelling software (e.g. ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, Junctions 9)
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Proactive, organised, and team-oriented

Desirable:

• Chartered status (or working towards)
• Experience in highway design or Road Safety Audits
• Commercial awareness and client relationship skills
