We are working with a well-established, nationwide transport specialist to recruit an Operations Supervisor / Planner to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within a business that values reliability, teamwork and high standards of customer service, offering stability and genuine career progression.The RoleAs a central part of the operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating vehicle routes, managing daily transport activity and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.Key responsibilities include:Planning routes, collections and deliveries to maximise efficiency and service levelsManaging transport activity through the TMS systemActing as the main point of contact for day-to-day operational issuesLiaising with internal teams and customers regarding bookings, updates and queriesEnsuring vehicles are dispatched on time, prioritising workloads effectivelySupporting driver communication, scheduling and compliancePromoting health and safety standards across the siteWorking hours are Monday-Friday on a rotating shift pattern (early and late shifts).What We''re Looking ForExperience within transport, logistics or planning Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence a teamA positive, adaptable and solution-focused mindsetGood geographical knowledge and understanding ..... full job details .....
