Transport Planner - Milton KeynesSalary £36K - £38KMonday to Friday - 1pm to 11pm Our client is one of the best known names in the Distribution Industry, providing customers with high standards of quality and service.JOB PURPOSEThe role of the Transport Planner is to produce daily transport plans for the depot. The transport planner will also be responsible for amending the transport plans through direct communication with the clients and Depot transport teams. The planner will also be expected to formulate the daily trunk schedule and communicate it to the relevant departments within the organisation. Live and retrospective report generation and KPI development will be key to understanding operational progress.
