This role is ideal for someone with previous transport office experience who is confident managing driver activities, planning vehicle movements, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Plan daily routes and allocate deliveries and collections. Build driver schedules and maximise vehicle utilisation. Reduce empty mileage and select the most suitable vehicles for each job. Communicate delivery updates and delays to customers. Deal with failed deliveries and customer queries. Support and coordinate a team of drivers. Respond to operational issues such as breakdowns, accidents, and damaged loads. Help resolve customer complaints and operational challenges.
