This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy transport operation where you''ll play a key role in ensuring deliveries are planned safely, efficiently, and in line with customer requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for route optimisation, managing daily transport activities, and responding to operational challenges in real time to maintain service levels across the network. This role would suit an individual with experience in transport planning, logistics, fleet operations, or route scheduling who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and optimise daily delivery routes to maximise vehicle utilisation and operational efficiency. Ensure routes comply with all relevant legislation, including ADR requirements, driver hours regulations, and site-specific restrictions. Coordinate tanker and compartment allocations based on product and customer requirements. Manage depot replenishment activity in line with operational demand. Monitor live transport operations and proactively manage delays, breakdowns, and other disruptions. Adjust routes and schedules in real time to maintain service levels and customer commitments.
