The Role We are looking for a focused Transport Planner to join our bustling Norwich depot. You will be responsible for routing our diverse fleet, balancing customer delivery demands, and ensuring maximum vehicle utilisation. This is a fast paced environment where quick thinking and sharp problem solving skills are essential to keep our supply chain running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Plan and organise daily delivery routes for our fleet to ensure efficient use of resources Minimise empty running and control fuel costs through smart scheduling Liaise directly with drivers, briefing them on schedules and monitoring progress throughout the day Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and potential delays Ensure full compliance with driver hours, working time directives, and road safety regulations Adjust schedules dynamically to handle traffic issues, break downs, or changing client demands Collaborate with the ..... full job details .....
