Transport Planner

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established and growing transport business with the recruitment of a Transport Planner. Permanent, full-time position based in Beeston, Nottingham. This is a busy operational role suited to someone with strong transport planning experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced traffic environment, coordinating workloads and delivering excellent service to customers. Salary Negotiable Package + Fantastic Benefits and Growth Opportunities Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate daily transport movements and workloads. Manage schedules and respond quickly to changing operational requirements. Liaise with drivers, customers and internal teams throughout the day. Ensure transport activity is organised efficiently and meets customer deadlines. Maintain accurate transport records and update relevant systems. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers. Resolve operational issues and delays effectively. Ensure activity is completed in line with transport legislation and company procedures. Support the wider transport team in maintaining high service levels. Skills and Experience Previous experience within transport planning, traffic operations or transport coordination. Good understanding of transport legislation. Experience working within a busy transport or logistics environment. Strong telephone manner and customer service skills. Excellent organisation and ability to work to strict deadlines.
