This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated operation, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals across the UK.Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate delivery schedules, optimising routes for safe and timely delivery of chemical products.Monitor and manage driver schedules in real-time, making adjustments to maintain service levels.Ensure compliance with safety and legal regulations specific to the transportation of hazardous materials.Liaise closely with drivers, safety teams, and customer service to communicate any route changes or updates.Address transport issues such as delays, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly and professionally.Analyse transport costs, efficiency, and safety compliance, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements:Previous experience in a transport planning role, ideally within a chemical delivery or hazardous materials environment.Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, especially regarding safety and compliance.Familiarity with transport management systems and proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external clients.Knowledge of ..... full job details .....
