Working Hours / Key BenefitsMonday - Friday 11am - 7pm25 days annual leave + bank holidays Private Healthcare (after completion of probation)Modern working environment within a new facilityPensionThe RoleAs a Transport Planner, you will plan and coordinate the movement of products from the Doncaster site to customers and distribution points. You will work with warehouse teams, drivers and third party partners to keep deliveries efficient, compliant and cost effective.Main responsibilities include:Develop and deliver transport schedules to achieve timely deliveriesOptimise routes to support performance and cost efficiencyMonitor live transport activity and resolve delivery issuesLiaise with internal teams and external transport partnersAlign transport plans with warehouse dispatchMaintain accurate transport documentationSupport cost control and suggest improvements to transport strategyThe PersonExperience in transport planning or logisticsStrong knowledge of UK geography and route planning systemsClear communication skillsGood knowledge of MS Office and transport management softwareAwareness of health and safety and ..... full job details .....
