Key tasks include:Developing and improving daily and weekly delivery plansAllocating vehicles and resources to achieve maximum utilisationPlanning multi drop routes and maintaining efficient transit timesWorking closely with warehouse and distribution teams to support order fulfilmentIdentifying issues, preventing disruption and resolving transport bottlenecksMonitoring costs and helping reduce spend without affecting serviceMaintaining compliance with transport regulations and internal policiesUsing transport systems, route planning tools and data reporting dashboardsTracking live deliveries and sharing updates with stakeholdersThe PersonPrevious experience within a transport planning roleConfident use of transport management systems and route planning toolsStrong analytical ..... full job details .....
