Transport Planner

We are working with a local authority situated in-London (consider fully wfh)-in their search for either a-Transport Planner-with the skillset to be able to assist the Strategic Transport Planning Manager.

A Transport policy/strategy Planner is required to develop the Council Long term sustainable travel strategy/plan (walking, cycling, and EV charging infrastructure). The primary role will be to develop and produce several strategy documents related to sustainable transport, including cycling, walking, and electric vehicles.

Candidates will need a suitable level of knowledge and experience in transport planning focused on sustainable travel modes and specific knowledge of the latest technical guidance and experience in the delivery of cycle and walking routes and EV charging infrastructure is essential. To also assist with other Transport planning matters.

• This role lands inside IR35, contracted for 6+ months initially.
• Hybrid working - likely also to be able to work mostly from home
