Transport Planner - Development Planning

Location: Birmingham (Permanent)

Salary: -35,000045,000

Your Role

You''ll play a key role in delivering transport planning services, including:

  • Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
  • Carrying out site access appraisals, junction capacity assessments, and parking reviews
  • Supporting transport chapters for Environmental Statements
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
  • Assisting with project management and proposal preparation
  • Analysing transport data using TRICS, Junctions (PICADY/ARCADY), and TEMPro

Who We''re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years'' experience in UK transport/development planning
  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system and relevant transport guidance (e.g. NPPF, Manual for Streets)
  • Proficient in technical analysis tools and technical report writing
  • Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop your career
