We''re currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to manage daily operations for a fleet of 20 vehicles, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective transport solutions nationwide.

• Plan and schedule nationwide deliveries across a 20-vehicle general haulage fleet

• Optimise routing to ensure timely deliveries and maximum vehicle utilisation

• Monitor driver performance, legal compliance (e.g. drivers'' hours, tachographs), and working time regulations

• Coordinate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues

• Maintain accurate records using transport management systems (TMS)

• Previous experience as a Transport Planner within general haulage or similar sector

• Strong UK geographical knowledge and route planning ability

• Proficient in transport planning systems and Microsoft Office

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
