Transport Planner - Container Haulage Location: Felixstowe Salary: Up to 45k DOE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent An established and fast-growing logistics operator within the container haulage sector is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their busy operations team. The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day planning of container movements from Felixstowe and London Gateway, ensuring service levels, revenue targets and operational efficiency are consistently achieved. Planning daily container movements from Felixstowe and London GatewayManaging allocated trucks and driver resourcesEnsuring revenue targets and service levels are metCommunicating effectively with drivers and maintaining strong working relationshipsManaging same-day operational issues and resolving problems efficientlyBooking and managing VBS slots accuratelyMaintaining high standards of organisation and compliance Experience Required Previous experience in transport planning within container haulageStrong understanding of port operations and VBS systemsKnowledge of haulage and container logisticsExperience using Truckcom (preferred)Excellent organisational and multitasking skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesWR Logistics are the recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
