Transport Planner Temporary Ongoing Huddersfield£30,000 - £31,000 (Pro rota) Various Shifts Days I m currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to join a leading Fuel distributor who specialise within commercial petrochemical distribution. Shifts: Covering early (6am-3pm), mid (7am-4pm), and late (9am-6pm) shifts, including weekend rotation (6am-6pm)The Candidate; Previous experience within a Transport operation within a planner position is highly desirableADR / Tanker route planning experience is highly desirablePrevious experience within a fast paced transport positionA good understanding of Drivers hours regulationsAbility to work a rotational shift pattern (earlies, lates, and weekends).Experience of using system based planning toolsA strong knowledge of tachograph regulationsStrong administrative skillsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesCompetent decision makingGood geographical knowledge Duties and Responsibilities; Efficiently plan and optimise fuel deliveries using a computerised system.Ensure all customer requirements are met safely and cost-effectively.React swiftly to operational challenges and prioritise tasks effectively.Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Using geographical knowledge to maximise the fleet ability to workEnsuring drivers are up to date with any road problems and challenging ..... full job details .....
