Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating daily transport schedules and delivery routes.
• Liaising with drivers, customers, depots, and third-party transport providers.
• Monitoring vehicle movements and responding to operational issues as they arise.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Maintaining accurate transport and compliance records.
• Managing customer enquiries and providing regular updates on deliveries.
• Supporting the wider logistics and supply chain function.
• Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensuring compliance with all transport legislation and company procedures.

About You

• Previous experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, haulage, or distribution.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and transport management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of transport compliance and logistics operations would be advantageous.
