We are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join their busy depot at London Gateway. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established logistics company. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate multiple drivers dailyLiaise directly with UK ports to book delivery slotsUse the TOPS transport system to record drivers'' start and finish timesMonitor ETAs and ensure timely deliveriesReroute jobs efficiently when requiredEnsure all PODs (Proof of Deliveries) are accurately matched with corresponding jobs in the systemCommunicate with customers regarding potential delays and delivery updates Requirements Proven experience in transport operations - essentialExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong geographical knowledge of the UKAbility to work independently and take initiativeQuick thinking with strong problem-solving skillsHighly organised and detail-orientedFlexibility to meet business demandsContainer experience - desirable Remuneration and Benefits Working Hours: 4 on, 4 off (06:00-18:00)Salary will be dependent on experienceAnnual bonusLife assurance - 3x salary from day one (up to age 66)Exclusive discounts on MSC cruises for you, your family, ..... full job details .....
