Transport Operators Wanted - London GatewayLocation: London GatewayHours: Full-time, permanentShift Patterns Available:04:00 - 14:0008:00 - 18:00Salary: Competitive, depending on experienceType: Permanent / Full-timeFusion People are supporting a growing logistics business at London Gateway who are looking to recruit 2-3 Transport / Traffic Operators to join their busy transport operation.This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in transport, traffic planning, logistics operations or container movements who is looking to join a business with strong growth plans and real opportunities to develop further down the line.Key Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate daily transport operationsCommunicate with drivers, customers, ports and suppliersMonitor vehicle movements and respond to any operational issuesEnsure deliveries and collections are completed efficientlyMaintain accurate transport records and system updatesEnsure compliance with company procedures and transport regulationsThe Ideal Candidate:Previous experience in transport, traffic office, logistics or haulage operationsStrong communication and organisation skillsAble to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentConfident dealing with drivers, customers and suppliersGood attention to detail and able to update systems accuratelyExperience using Fargo TOPS would be highly desirableExperience within container transport, ports or vehicle movements would be beneficialFlexibility to support with ..... full job details .....
