Are you a highly organised individual with a passion for logistics and transport coordination? We''re looking for a Transport Operator to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth, efficient, and safe movement of goods across our network.
Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Operator to work in Manchester.
The rate of pay is £35,(Apply online only) per hour.
This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts. The hours of work are:
- 8am to 5pm
Your Time at Work
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule transport routes for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor driver performance and vehicle tracking systems
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of transport operations and documentation
- Handle incidents, delays, and emergencies professionally and promptly
- Ensure compliance with transport laws, health & safety, and company policies

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment (preferred)
- Must have Pallet network knowledge
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Familiarity with transport management systems (TMS)
- Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve in real-time
