Transport Compliance Manager Location: Greater ManchesterSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Performance BonusHours: 40 Hours per WeekWorking Pattern: 5 Days from 7 The Opportunity A well-established and highly successful logistics and distribution business is seeking an experienced Transport Compliance Manager to join its transport operation in the Greater Manchester area. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring full transport compliance across a mixed commercial fleet while supporting safe, efficient, and legally compliant operations. The successful candidate will oversee vehicle and driver compliance, lead transport-related governance activities, and work closely with operational teams to maintain high standards across the fleet. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of transport compliance across a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles Ensure adherence to all relevant transport legislation, operator licence requirements, and company procedures Monitor and review driver hours, Working Time Directive compliance, and tachograph data Conduct driver debriefs, identify trends, and implement coaching measures to minimise repeat infringements Oversee vehicle inspection programmes, statutory testing schedules, and maintenance compliance Manage preventative maintenance planning and ensure regulatory checks are completed within required timescales Review maintenance records, inspection reports, brake testing documentation, and compliance certificates, taking corrective ..... full job details .....
