Transport Operations ManagerMenzies Distribution Solutions is looking for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join our team covering Knowsley and Oldham, although the role will cover both depots the successfull applicant will be based spend more time in Knowsley. The role is responsible for maximising the performance of the operation by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities, providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the workforce, executing against customer requirements. Ability to manage remote teams where necessary and dealing with customers on a daily basis. The role will encompass improving Menzies ways of working to continually reduce cost and aid in the implementation of new procedures, management of employees and on site admin, transport, stock and warehouse operation requirements.This role will ensure that all legislative and regulatory requirements are upheld and the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at all times.The Details: Salary: £35,000 Per Annum Shift Pattern: Tuesday - SaturdayStart Time: 07:00Hours Per Week: 45Location: Knowsley and OldhamMonthly PayFree Gym Access onsite Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to) Maintain a safe working environment which complies with all aspects of the Company HandS policyAccountability for the management and supervision of the dispatch operation.Effective leadership and management developing best practice across areas of ..... full job details .....
