Transport OfficerWe are currently recruiting for a proactive Transport Officer to support the delivery of efficient and effective transport services within a busy local authority setting.Rate: £18.68 per hour (umbrella, Inside IR35)Hours: Full time - 37 hours per weekDuration: Initial contract until June 2026Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote, with occasional on-site attendance (approximately once every two weeks in Leicestershire)Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and support transport operations and schedulingLiaise with members of the public, drivers, and key stakeholdersHandle enquiries professionally via telephone and emailMaintain accurate records and effectively use internal systemsSupport the wider team in managing workloads and meeting deadlinesRequirements:Previous experience within transport or a similar environmentStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloadComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentGood IT skills and administrative capabilityAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamConfident communicator with a professional telephone mannerFlexible and adaptable approach to workIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply ..... full job details .....
