Transport Modeller (Aimsun Specialist) UK Hybrid Working Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits The OpportunityWe are working with a leading, employee-owned international consultancy to recruit a Transport Modeller with Aimsun expertise to join their growing UK transport planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to work on high-impact, multimodal transport projects, using Aimsun to support infrastructure design, development planning, and sustainable transport strategies. You''ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where your work will directly influence real-world transport outcomes and decision-making.Key responsibilities include:Developing and applying multimodal transport models (primarily using Aimsun)Supporting model calibration, validation, and scenario testingContributing to projects across public transport, highways, infrastructure, and major developmentsAssisting with transport appraisal and reporting in line with DfT WebTAG guidanceWorking collaboratively with planners, engineers, and specialists to integrate modelling into wider strategiesSupporting knowledge sharing and contributing to team development initiativesYou will have:Experience using Aimsun or similar transport modelling softwareUnderstanding of model development, calibration, and scenario testingFamiliarity with GIS tools for analysis and visualisationExposure to UK transport planning and appraisal frameworks (e.g. WebTAG)Experience supporting ..... full job details .....
