Transport ManagerLocation: AmmanfordSalary: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum We are recruiting an experienced Transport Manager to join a well-established manufacturing business in Ammanford, taking responsibility for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of a busy national distribution fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operation of a mixed HGV and van fleet.Plan delivery routes and collections to maximise vehicle utilisation.Ensure compliance with Operator Licence, DVSA and Working Time Directive requirements.Act as the nominated Transport Manager on the Operator Licence.Manage vehicle maintenance, inspections and defect reporting.Monitor tachographs, driver hours and performance.Lead and support drivers and loading teams.Manage transport costs, fuel usage and operational performance.Promote high standards of health and safety and continuous improvement.About YouCPC in Road Haulage - National or InternationalValid HGV Category C+E licenceUp-to-date Driver CPCPrevious Transport Manager/fleet management experience.Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance.Confident leader with a proactive, hands-on approach.An excellent opportunity to take ownership of a substantial transport operation within an established manufacturing environment.To be considered for this role, please upload your CV or for more information, please call Naomi on (phone number removed).
