Transport Manager (Bus and Taxi Services) (Operator s Licence holder essential) Location: Lambeth Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our client''s fleet, comprising approximately 90 buses and supporting taxi services. The successful candidate must hold a full Operator s Licence (O-Licecnce) and demonstrate proven experience in managing compliant and efficient fleet operations. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day fleet operations across bus and taxi services Oversee and maintain compliance with operator s licence requirements Lead and support a team of drivers, supervisors, and support staff Plan, maintain, and optimise driver rotas and scheduling Ensure fleet availability, maintenance scheduling, and vehicle safety standards Monitor operational performance and service delivery KPIs Manage incident reporting, investigations, and resolution Liaise with regulatory bodies, maintenance partners, and suppliers Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of drivers Drive service improvements, cost efficiencies, and customer satisfaction Ensure compliance with health and safety, DVSA, and transport regulations Qualifications and Experience Operator s Licence holder essential Strong experience managing a transport fleet (buses, taxis or similar) Proven leadership experience managing operational teams, ..... full job details .....
