Transport Manager (CPC Holder)Salary: £45,000 - £50,000Location: UK (with EU travel up to twice per month)Type: Temp to Perm / Permanent OpportunityThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Manager to join a large, well-established logistics business during a period of strategic expansion.This role will play a key part in launching and managing a new cross-border linehaul solution between the UK, Netherlands, Ireland and additional EU lanes as the network scales throughout the year.This is a genuine opportunity to build and shape a new operation within a growing team, with long-term progression available as fleet size and lane volumes increase.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as Transport Manager and be named on the Operator''s LicenceOversee a dedicated linehaul fleet operating cross-border between the UK and EUManage driver compliance, WTD, tachograph and O Licence obligationsEnsure full compliance with DVSA and regulatory requirementsMonitor fleet utilisation, route efficiency and cost controlSupport the launch of new EU lanes as operations expandLiaise with EU partners and operational teamsTravel to EU locations up to twice per month as requiredDrive operational performance, service levels and KPI deliveryRequirementsValid International Transport Manager CPCExperience being named on an Operator''s LicenceStrong knowledge of UK and EU transport regulationsLinehaul / trunking management experienceCross-border transport experience (UK-EU ..... full job details .....
