Transport ManagerLocation: Milton KeynesSalary: 41,000 - 46,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeBenefits: Company vehicle, private medical insurance and free parkingThe RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to join a busy and growing transport operation in Milton Keynes.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport professional looking to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a transport function, leading a team and ensuring high standards of compliance, safety and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day transport and logistics operationManage, lead and motivate the transport teamEnsure full compliance with transport legislation, company procedures and safety standardsManage customer relationships and service levelsPlan and coordinate routes and vehicle utilisationMonitor operational performance and identify areas for improvementProduce and review transport and performance reportsSupport the development of efficient and cost-effective transport processesEnsure vehicles, drivers and transport activities remain compliantAbout YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience in a Transport Manager or senior transport/logistics roleA strong understanding of transport operations and complianceLevel 3 Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Transport ManagementStrong leadership and people-management skillsExcellent communication and organisational skillsGood ..... full job details .....
