Transport Manager

Transport ManagerMenzies Distribution Solutions are currently looking for an experienced Transport Manager to lead our team in Wakefield. The purpose of the role is to maximise the performance of the operation by directing the daily activities, providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the workforce, executing against customer requirements. Ability to manage remote employees where necessary and dealing with customers CS teams. The role will encompass improving Menzies ways of working to continually reduce cost and aid in the implementation of new procedures, management of employees and on-site admin, transport, stock and warehouse operational requirements. This role will ensure that all legislative and regulatory requirements are upheld, and the highest standards of health and safety are always maintained.
