Transport Manager Location: Hull Salary: £55,000 £60,000 DOE Job Type: Full-time Permanent Irlam Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading food manufacturing business, who are currently seeking a proven and experienced Transport Manager to join their high-performing logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and operationally strong individual to take ownership of the transport function within a growing and fast-paced business. The Role As Transport Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the transport department, ensuring that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry regulations. You will lead a team of drivers and transport staff, oversee route planning and vehicle scheduling, and ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK. You will report directly into the General Manager Working closely with warehousing, production, and customer service teams, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
