Transport Manager

With a diverse client base and a focus on operational excellence, we are looking for a talented Transport Manager to lead and optimize our transportation operations across New York.

The Role

As our Transport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day transport activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods, managing fleet operations, and leading a team of drivers and logistics coordinators. This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a passion for logistics.

Transport Manager Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage transportation schedules and routes.
• Supervise drivers, dispatchers, and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Optimize fleet performance and minimize transportation costs.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and service schedules.
• Implement strategies for improved efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Transport Manager Requirements

• Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar logistics/operations role.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance regulations and transportation laws.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in transport management systems (TMS) and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Bachelor''s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
