You will report to the Transport Operations Manager and ensure deliveries run safely, legally and on time.Main responsibilitiesTransport operations - Manage dispatch schedules, driver allocations and delivery windows.Safety and compliance - Ensure driver hours, tachographs, vehicle checks and transport legislation are followed.Team management - Lead briefings, manage attendance and absence, and motivate drivers and transport staff.Customer service - Resolve delivery issues quickly and maintain high service standards.Performance and KPIs - Monitor driver performance, fuel efficiency and vehicle damage.What you needAt least 2 years of supervisory or team leader experience.Background in transport, multi-drop delivery, FMCG or high-volume logistics.Strong people-management and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of driver hours, vehicle safety and transport compliance.IT skills, including Transport Management Systems (TMS) and spreadsheets.Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends.Benefits 40,000 annual salary.Weekly ..... full job details .....
