Transport Driver

Duties:

• Collection and delivery of vehicles using a truck and trailer, ensuring all vehicles are secured and transported safely and in compliance with regulations
• Completion of all relevant paperwork accurately and promptly
• Conduct vehicle inspections for damage and tyre safety, preparing damage reports as necessary
• Maintain systems and procedures in line with company standards and document all activities appropriately
• Receive and provide receipts for collections when applicable
• Collect and deliver small items or equipment as needed
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar Transport Driver role
• Valid UK driving licence with the ability and previous experience of trailered deliveries
• Full, clean UK drivers licence with B+E entitlement to tow up to 3.5T
• Ability to work to deadlines and targets
• Flexible approach with working hours, including Saturdays when required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a professional attitude
• Knowledge of vehicle safety checks and paperwork procedures
