Transport Coordinator Cardiff Salary: £28,000 rising to £29,000 after probation 6 Month Fixed to start Start: Immediate Yolk Recruitment is supporting an established manufacturing organisation with the recruitment of a Transport Coordinator to join their growing team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract that is highly likely to go permanent if you are performing well. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administration experience who enjoys working within a busy, fast-paced environment. You''ll be supporting the Transport function, acting as a key point of contact for customers and working closely with Transport Planning and external hauliers to ensure deliveries run as smoothly as possible. The position is initially covering a period of leave, however, with the business continuing to grow, there may be potential for longer-term opportunities within the organisation. This is what you''ll be doing You''ll be responsible for coordinating customer service requirements relating to the Transport department and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely information regarding their deliveries. Your responsibilities will include: Completing daily customer delivery confirmations, ensuring deliveries are still required and identifying any site restrictions, with confirmations completed 48 hours prior to delivery.
