The role will involve coordinating import and export road shipments from start to finish, including providing quotations and ensuring clients receive excellent customer service throughout their enquiry.You will liaise with both internal and external clients on transport-related issues and bookings, while ensuring shipments are managed efficiently, accurately and in line with the required procedures and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide competitive pricing and transport solutions to clients that meets their needsEnsuring that awarded jobs and processed and followed through to completionProvide proactive updates to clients, resolving any issues that may ariseBilling clients as per working SOPsProducing and completing all necessary paperwork, such as pre-alerts and CMRsLiaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running of transport serviceEnsure job files are processed and completed within the TMSLoad planning for both domestic and international trailersWork in accordance with company standards, guidelines and policies, including Quality, Health and Safety, Compliance and HMRC regulationsOperate within relevant legal requirements, including dangerous goods, customs, quarantine and transport securityFollow customer policies and proceduresReport hazards, near misses and events ..... full job details .....
