Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Remuneration: Competitive salary based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Route Planning: Design efficient delivery routes considering traffic, distance, and client SLA deadlines.
- Driver Dispatching: Assign deliveries based on driver availability, location, and vehicle suitability.
- Fleet Management: Ensure fleet compliance, maintenance, and accurate record-keeping.
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor delivery progress, identify delays, and resolve issues promptly.
- Communication Management: Maintain regular contact with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to transport regulations and safety standards.
- Documentation Processing: Prepare and manage despatch notes, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Cost Optimisation: Identify opportunities to reduce transport costs through route efficiency.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve transportation-related emergencies or issues.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyse delivery metrics for continuous improvement.
- Customer Focus: Maintain a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
- Flexibility: Support other areas of the business as required.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics coordination role
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards
- Experience working with fleet management systems
