Job Title: Transport Controller (Part-Time)Location: HeathrowHours: 4 on / 4 off, 18:00 - 22:00Pay: 15.52 per hourCompany: Passenger Transport Operator (Heathrow) The Role We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Transport Controller to join a busy passenger transport operation based near Heathrow. This role provides evening cover while the main controllers are on break and plays a key part in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient transport operations during peak evening periods. You''ll be responsible for coordinating drivers and vehicles, monitoring services in real time, and dealing with any operational issues to keep services running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control daily transport operations during the evening shiftAllocate drivers and vehicles to routes and duties as requiredAct as the main point of contact for drivers during the shiftHandle delays, disruptions, and operational issues quickly and calmlyEnsure services run in line with schedules and customer expectationsLiaise with internal teams and stakeholders as neededMaintain accurate records and update systems with any changes or incidentsEnsure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and transport regulations Shift Pattern and Hours 4 on / 4 off rotaEvening shifts: 18:00 - 22:00Average of around 14 hours per weekPay 15.52 per hour About You Previous experience in transport control, logistics coordination, or a similar operational role is preferredConfident communicator, ..... full job details .....
