This role is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop a career within logistics, transport planning, and operations support.Working closely with the Transport Planning team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of transport activities while supporting a portfolio of high-profile customer contracts.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Transport Planner with daily operational activities.Act as the main point of contact for collection depots and transport carriers.Coordinate and book collection times with relevant depots.Monitor trailer availability and utilisation across multiple locations.Proactively monitor operational activity and identify potential issues.Provide clear and accurate reporting on operational performance and exceptions.Track collections and maintain issue logs, escalating any anomalies as required.Ensure procedures and service standards are consistently followed.About YouThe successful candidate will have:Previous administration experience.Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.Strong customer service skills.Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.Excellent verbal and ..... full job details .....
