What you''ll be doing;
- Responsible for managing the fleet compliance for the contract.
- Managing vehicle serving planning in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all in/out recording is completed inline with company policy.
- Proactive fleet management inline with company policy.
- To work with business applications ensuring compliance with VMR and VMS.
- Manage driver performance and record/report taking appropriate action where falls short of legal requirements.
- To maintain the current high safety standards in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- To embrace new systems and ensure ability to record data/information - AVA
- Communicating with suppliers and service providers is essential to deliver an effective well maintained operational fleet.
- Building relationships with various stakeholders will be a key part of the role.
- Communicating with regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance and understanding on maintaining a safe fleet.
What we''re looking for;
- Knowledge and experience of the waste industry.
- Knowledge and experience working in the transport logistics industry
- IT Skills - Google platform
- Working knowledge of Road Traffic Act and EU hours.
- Problem Solving
- IOSH - Managing safely
