What you''ll be doing;

• Responsible for managing the fleet compliance for the contract.
  
• Managing vehicle serving planning in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  
• Ensure all in/out recording is completed inline with company policy.
  
• Proactive fleet management inline with company policy.
  
• To work with business applications ensuring compliance with VMR and VMS.
  
• Manage driver performance and record/report taking appropriate action where falls short of legal requirements.
  
• To maintain the current high safety standards in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  
• To embrace new systems and ensure ability to record data/information - AVA
  
• Communicating with suppliers and service providers is essential to deliver an effective well maintained operational fleet.
  
• Building relationships with various stakeholders will be a key part of the role.
  
• Communicating with regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance and understanding on maintaining a safe fleet.
  

What we''re looking for;

• Knowledge and experience of the waste industry.
  
• Knowledge and experience working in the transport logistics industry
  
• IT Skills - Google platform
  
• Working knowledge of Road Traffic Act and EU hours.
  
• Problem Solving
  
• IOSH - Managing safely
