We''re looking for someone who can confidently manage and support all third-party transport activity, working closely with hauliers, freight forwarders and specialist lifting partners. In this varied role, you''ll coordinate vehicle movements, ensure full compliance for abnormal loads and play a key part in supporting safe and efficient crane lifting operations. Combining office based logistics planning with hands on operational oversight, you''ll help maintain the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and service delivery every day. THE ROLE: As a Transport Coordinator you will be required to:Coordinate all third-party transport activity, acting as the main point of contact for hauliers, freight forwarders and specialist providersSchedule and manage inbound/outbound movements, ensuring timely collections and deliveries while monitoring progress and resolving issuesReview and verify all transport and export documentation, including permits, declarations and booking detailsNegotiate rates, availability, and service levels with external partners where requiredPlan and oversee abnormal load movements, ensuring full compliance with permits, escort requirements, route surveys and statutory regulationsWork closely with heavy haulage specialists to deliver safe and compliant transport ..... full job details .....
