Transport Clerk (Nights, 4 on 4 off)
£13.09 per hour
Shift: 18:00 – 06:00 

We are now looking for a Transport Clerk to assist with transport planning and day-to-day operational support.
This role could be temp-to-perm depending on the candidate.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Supporting day-to-day transport operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Maintaining and updating transport documentation, including driver briefs/debriefs, delivery notes, and system entries
• Communicating with drivers, planners, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth coordination of activities
• Monitoring fleet compliance, including defects, tachograph downloads, and vehicle checks
• Assisting with reporting, KPI updates, and internal audits
• Responding to operational issues or queries, escalating where required

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administration role (desirable but not essential)
• Have strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Are confident using IT systems (e.g. MS Office, transport systems, telematics platforms)
• Have good communication skills and can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
