Transport Analyst

OverviewTransport AnalystGreat opportunity to join a team of Transport Modellers and Analysts working on Transport Infrastructure projects.

Location: Manchester

Hybrid: 2 - 3 days a week in the office / 2-3 days from home

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic

Responsibilities

Collating, analysing, and using transportation data across the Transportation planning and modelling divisions to carry out technical assurance on various schemes.

Supporting the preparation of transport-related evidence to support the development of technical business plans.

Utilising transport modelling software, using one or more of GIS, SATURN, CUBE or VISUM to prepare evidence for internal and external stakeholders.

Day-to-day duties will vary but could include the above responsibilities.

Required Experience

Degree qualified, ideally supported by Data analytical modules.

Experience of being in a large organisation working with data projects, to support business cases.

Ideally in the Infrastructure sector as these sectors actively use the transport modelling software packages, using one or more of GIS, SATURN, CUBE or VISUM.
