Transport Administrator

Job Title: Transport Administrator / Logistics Support Location: Lichfield WS14 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (30-minute lunch break) Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Transport Administrator / Logistics Support to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a varied role that combines administrative support for the transport and logistics department with hands-on warehouse duties, including operating a forklift. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of transport operations and supporting general logistics functions. This is a great opportunity for someone with a blend of admin and warehouse experience looking for a long-term opportunity in a supportive and busy environment. Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day transport operations, including scheduling and tracking deliveries.Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate dispatches.Complete all relevant transport documentation accurately (e.g. delivery notes, manifests).Maintain transport and warehouse records using internal systems and Microsoft Office.Operate a forklift as required to assist with loading/unloading goods and general warehouse duties.Assist in inventory management and stock control.Ensure compliance with health and safety and transport regulations.Provide general support to the logistics and warehouse ..... full job details .....
