Transport Administrator Hull £30,000 £32,000 per annum, depending on experience Are you an experienced Transport Administrator who understands the day-to-day demands of a busy transport operation? Hutton and Co (Ships Chandlers) Ltd is looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to join its team at its Hull Head Office. As a ships chandler, Hutton and Co supplies vessels calling at ports across the UK. Transport operations therefore need to work around vessel arrival and departure times, with deliveries coordinated to ensure goods reach vessels when they are needed. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the Transport Manager with the day-to-day administration and coordination of drivers, vehicles and transport compliance. You will be working closely with drivers and the wider transport team in an operation where priorities and timings can change, so we are looking for someone who already has experience working within a transport or fleet environment and can confidently get to grips with the role. What you''ll be doing Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining regular day-to-day communication with drivers and responding to operational queries. Recording driver hours and maintaining accurate driver records. Carrying out and recording driver licence checks. Completing regular tachograph downloads and maintaining associated records.
