About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Transport Administrator to join our busy haulage and logistics operation. This is an afternoon shift role supporting the transport team with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the transport and operations team
  • Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and delivery updates
  • Accurately input and manage data using internal systems
  • Monitor deliveries and resolve any issues or delays
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from customers and drivers
  • Maintain records, paperwork, and compliance documentation
  • Support the planning team with general office duties

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or logistics role preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
