Transition Director 12-Month Contract Market rate - Inside IR35 Hybrid (London - 3 days per week)We''re looking for an experienced Transition Director to lead a large-scale technology services transition for a major enterprise organisation. This is a high-profile transformation programme focused on moving from a complex multi-supplier environment to a modern, integrated operating model.You''ll be responsible for leading the end-to-end transition strategy, ensuring critical services are transferred safely while driving improvements in operational efficiency, governance and service quality from day one.Key Responsibilities Lead the overall transition strategy, governance and delivery across multiple technology service towers. Develop and manage integrated transition plans, milestones, dependencies, readiness assessments and cutover activities. Coordinate incumbent suppliers, delivery partners and internal stakeholders throughout the transition lifecycle. Ensure knowledge transfer, shadowing, reverse shadowing, dual running and service acceptance activities are completed successfully. Protect live service throughout transition, proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies. Drive process improvements, automation opportunities and operational enhancements as part of the transition rather than simply replicating the existing environment.
